The 4000 Kb is just awesome.. but if you are looking at a budget touch typist kb take a look at the microsoft comfort curve 2000.. its VFM and its super comfortable.. plus it suits big hands.. i own one.. and im really happy with it.. it can be used for almost anything.. and you wont have to make a big adjustment with this kb and you will not feel that big a difference while shifting between this and any normal Kb out there. the natural takes a lot of practice.. and it'll be difficult initially for you to shift between this and the normal kb. Cheers.

1. Budget isnt an issue. Comfort is all important here. My hands are worth more than 3k to me :)

2. Small hands actually, but I dont mind the adjustment.

3. As I stated earlier so long as I can still use it even if I am not a touch typist, i am fine with it.

Got quoted 3k for the Natural 4000 and 4200 for the natural 6000 (mouse) locally :( WIll need to source it from one of the dealers I guess.

^^ it can be a touch type or not.. your choice on how you use it there :P
Next the 2000 is very comfortable.. thats exactly why i said its a good KB.
VFM was just an added feature :juggle:

Next the 2000 isnt that differently styled from a normal KB.. its got the same Layout but with a curve.. so the only adjustment you will be making is the natural positioning of your hand.. thus reducing the pain and prolonged use has not caused any issues so far for me.

This was just a suggestion..

but honestly ive tried Logitech's Wave Kb and i felt it was the most comfortable one out there..

Thats just my 2 cents mate..

Cheers!
