I am looking for a comfortable and ergonomic mouse. I spend long hours with the mouse for work. Currently using the Razer Imperator, which is pretty comfortable, but looking for a change to something better. I generally use a palm grip, but not the standard variation where the wrist is fixed and the forearm moves things - I use my wrist, forearm constant like in fingertip/claw but I still use my whole palm. I need a certain amount of precision so I find this the best compromise between comfort and accuracy. In certain high precision situations I drop the DPI way down and switch to the traditional fingertip grip. 1600 DPI to 2000 DPI is enough for my usage, need a high polling rate, no need for extra buttons or any special requirements. The main criteria is comfort. Budget is flexible but of course looking for the best value for money. Thanks for your suggestions in advance!

the most comfortable and sensible mouse that i've used are from Logitech.. i really dont think theres any point looking beyond them.. if you are looking for a lower budget, check out the G300 (MX518 - now the name changed.. am not sure if its G300 or G400) otherwise buy the ultimate G500. i am pretty sure you will like it much better than your razor imperator.

all these mouses mentioned are full sized palm covering mouse. if you dont have gorilla hands, you can easily rest your palm on the whole mouse..

#Sub do check out the Logitech G300 -- http://www.techencla...ch-g300-review/, I've done a review on it, it is a great ambidextrous mouse and has quite a few nifty features that you find only in higher priced alternatives.

If that does not suit your requirement, go for the Corsair Vengeance M60 ~2800/- http://www.overclock..._mouse_review/1 / http://www.thinkdigi...eview_8141.html.

P.S. -- the G300 is a smallish mouse but if you are willing to adjust it is a really good and responsive mouse. Try to audition these mice before purchasing them.

Hope this helps, Cheers!!

Thanks! G300 doesn't suit me, but I am considering G400 and G500. I was already looking at the M60, the Sniper button will be very useful for those high precision situations. Pending a better suggestion, I will go for M60.
