Hail Ergonomics...

It’s all about furniture...

Could prioritize mainly on Computer furniture but extend towards others too (Hey its general talk anyway)

Post your setup, suggestions, solutions, admirations, requirements and whatever....

(I will start posting from tomorrow to avoid merging)

Safe back and good health...

My bed has a mink blanket laid over the mattress. On it the bedsheet is laid. I cannot describe how it feels while sleeping. :P

Nice try & good start...:)

Is it a branded matress or custom made? :bleh:
Feeling in sleep: Your experience sleeping in bed of natural cotton vs synthetic fibre....

My experience: Natural cotton helps to cool the body due to its properties, and feels better:D

^That is a good thing. Heard it makes your back stronger. As a student I was always encouraged to sleep on thin mattress.

I would like to add on sleep on ground thing, those who dont want that. I would suggest not to use pillow, you will never have back/neck problems in life. Secondly use mattresses with 50:50 ratio foam and coir you will never have back problems either.

there are some knock off ikea guys near blore and delhi , you just have to locate them, and yes cheaper than ikea

I have stopped using pillow since a week. Am experimenting with sleep.
P.S. Andre Agassi used to sleep on the ground too. Read it in his AutoBio

OT :ashamed:

I would love some suggestions on how to put less strain on the back while sleeping. My back gets all sore when I get up in the morning. It takes around 1 hour to get things back to normal.

Though I know the cause of this and have it diagnosed by a doctor (Sacroiliac joint - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia), I would really love to see if anything would help me reduce the stiffness and give a better sleeping experience.

Tell me about it. :(

IKEA has such awesome DIY and modular furniture. And do not cost a bomb!

Anyone know why IKEA has STILL not entered India ?

Its seems quite odd.

Try to get & Use waterbed..

Though there are many controversies, its the best in getting to the shape of back and better support.
