Error - BOOTMGR is compressed. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

Hello,

as I tried to start Windows 7 Ultimate today,
I got this message:

"BOOTMGR is compressed. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart" When i again booted my PC it again showed me the same message.

This message is coming just after when my PC starts and shows if i have to boot from the CD. I even tried to repair the error using Win7 DVD, but it came on coming.

What does that mean? How can I fix it?

Whats the reason for that?

I think your bootmgr file(s) are compressed with ntfs compression.
Use some live cd or even the bootup disk,un-compress the bootmgr.

Please tell me how to un-compress using dos as i cannot take my HDD to another PC for the same.

Use bootfix etc commands.

I tried them but all in vain. There must me a way to prevent this type of errors.
