Error Executing the bash script.

Whenever i execute the above script i m getting following error.

However If i execute the code by excluding .

I get the proper output.

What can be the issue?
I m confuesed.
I had removed the commented part from the script there fore 85 line points to line 14 in the code.
i.e.

MACHINEEXISTFLAG=$(ssh -T -q -n root@$1 xm list | grep $2)

Whats there in line 85 ? What editor are you using to save the files ?

Try quoting "*$VM_GUEST")

How fool i was! the problem is i was using a system variable PATH to store my application specific data.

I wonder how no one noticed the silly mistake.
