The difference is like night and day !!! The EP-630 forte is the muddy bloated bass. You will hear the so called bass before you hear anything else including the thin weak vocals.

The ER-6i are almost audiophile earphones and practically don't have any 'bass'. You will not hear or feel any thump in the music. To compensate however it has a really beautiful midrange and treble which IMHO more than makes up for the lack of bass.

Difference is MASSIVE versus an EP-630 and BF1983, the bass isn't that bad, prolly the low end is a bit weaker because its SO much distortion free and the low-mids make up for it.

The upper mids and highs are in a different league. I had the UE Super.fi3 Studio earlier which were slightly lower end to this and those were fabulous IEMs themselves, so really looking forward to these!

I've asked KMD for 2, so whoever wants the other one can PM me and we'll split costs.

I'll put up the pricing here anyways once KMD replies :)
 
@Anish - Thats quite true actually. Even the so called 'bass' of the Ep-630 is really a bloated lower midrange.

But why only 2 ? I am sure many more will be interested in this earphone at this price.

Also to the guy mentioning about the tips, the ER6i can also use the EP-630 tips, so that should solve the problem.
