EV-DO question

Hi guys, I hope someone can clarify this. I just wanted to know whether BSNL's EV-DO service is restricted to EV-DO card only or it can be availed separately? I mean there are few mobile phones which do support EV-DO so theoretically we should be able to avail the service on those mobiles as well?
 
nope, you need hardware for the connection to work and it needs to be purchased from BSNL only.
 
Don't think they have anything like that...you can buy or take EVDO card from them on rent and then use the services(What I was told by JTOn in Palam Vihar Gurgaon)
