Even firefox 3 fails acid3 test

I was trying out the acid test on different browsers. Though firefox is the best of opera, IE 7, and firefox .. It didnt score a 100 on the acid3 test..

The question is,
how credible is the acid test?
Is there any browser which is 100% compliant with the acid test?:S

do we really need this acidic test ? .. as long as I can surf and post in TE.. i dnt care
