Eveready CFL 15W pack of 3 for just 240 bucks!!!

I always get Eveready 15W CFLs from D mart where usually I get an offer : 2 for 185/- which was always better than any online offer I could find.. This one seems even better. But now a days I am slowly replacing all my CFLs with LEDs. Anyway this is a good offer.

Was looking at the specs of led and saw lifetime rated as 6000 15000 hours for led.

Guess how long it is for tube lights ? the same (!)

That is the big question. Without a clamp meter there is no way to tell.

Only reason i mentioned it one of the selling points of led is the long life to justify the increased cost.

The 23W Philips CFL I had in my living room lasted a bit over 3 yrs. Roughly it might've been 3K+ hrs. The price currently seems 350/- on snapdeal. A 10W LED as they advertise should give the same amount of light and the initial cost will be more than double. But now if it does last 6k hrs then along with the power saving it should become justifiable.

Ofcourse CFL will have the same hours. After all what is a CFL anyways?
CFL is 6000 hours. CFL is compact. i meant the traditional non-compact ones :)

LED and tube light ( those long lones) have the same rated life of 15000 hours.
