exatt provides speed of 10-11 KBps for a 128 pack....thats normal
u cant expect much for 475 + 10.2% tax....
i agree they advertise it as 128 so theoritically shud be 16KBps but 10-12 is da best they can do and da bandwidth is limited by exattnet..
what client you are using for torrents.
Anyway, any client you use follow these steps.
1. Change the default port.
If its 6881 then just add 1 before it i.e. "16881" or any other random number but not the default one.
2. Now go to control pannel>windows firewall>excemptions>add port.
Here add the port no you just assigned to the excemption. 1 for TCP and 1 for UDP to be on safe side.
So total two ports should be added to the excemption.
Restart the windows and you should be ok.
But yeah if you are already getting 10KBps then it seems there is no NAT problem on your side. I too have sify connection where i reach 22-25KBps on http but only 13-15 KBps on torrents.
And i can browse easily at same speeds as without torrent download while downloading torrents which means extra bandwidth is there but its not utilised by the torrent client.
I have used soo many but bittornado and bitcommet are the best i have found as far as the speeds go.
