Hi guyes

I have forgotten the excel 2000 password which i gave 6 months back.Pls advise me a password breaker software for free.

I am also looking for the same with excel file.searched the forum, found this thread but no replies, so bumping it.

already tried:

Free word excel password recovery wizard

Need any Free password crackers. if it helps, I remember password being a number so brute-forcing should be easy.

Well I have one which I sourced and modified the code, it breaks the sheet level password. I.E. you should be able to open the file, but the tabs are locked for editing..?

I had used one, but i don't remember whether it was free or not. Let me get back to you with the name of the software.
 
Try this
Right click the tab, then copy it , u ll get option of movin it to the end of the sheet or copy it to new xl file.
It may work, as it worked for me in couple of cases
