exchanging or selling 2x512 MB RAM

anybody interested in exchanging their 2x512 MB PC3200RAM running at 3-3-3-8 for my 2x512 mb (2.5-4-4-8 ) PC3200RAM or 400MhzRAm .

The reason for exchange is that i already have 2x512mb running at 3-3-3-8 and with these 2x512 Mb (2.5-4-4-8 ), that is a total of 2GB of ram i can get only a memory speed of 159.6Mhz due to the timing mismatch.
These 2x512 MB of RAM running at 2.5-4-4- 8 alone ,that is 1 GB of RAM run at 200MHz on dual channel mode perfectly well.

If anybody is interested in buying these i am willing to sell them for Rs. 3000 for the pair .

The Rams are perfectly fine, have tested with memtest86, in case of any problems i will exchange or buy it back.

The RAMS are 9 months used and have another 3 months of warranty left.

Did you try setting it manually to DDR400? Whats your motherboard?

yeah i tried to set it at 400 mhz it works at 200mhz but in game i get lockups.
my mobo is an intel 865gbf.

is it due to timing mismatch or it cud be bcuz ur using all 4 slots of ur motherboard
mayb thts why the 200mhz falls back to 160

So it makes more sense to say that its the motherboard thats the culprit rather than the ram. Did you try setting the timings to 3-4-4-8 and check? Since that shud be do'able by both all the sticks.

i can get 200MHz (3-4-4-8 ) with all rams but games like counter strike source crash back to desktop after playing for a while (i.e. after 4 to 5 rounds).
If anybody is willing to buy my old RAM i am willing to sell them for RS.3000 for both RAM s.
