PC Peripherals exchanging powersupply of SATA 500 GB hardisk with Fan Powersupply ??

fan power supply is a 4 pin , so i purchased an 4 pin to 16 pin connector , so I can connect power cable of fan to my 2nd sata hardisk ??

Just want to know its safe or not ?

You mean Molex to SATA? Yea those are perfectly safe to use. A lot of mobos come with this connector in case the users PSU dosent have a SATA power connector

@rahul21, I hope you're not talking about the fan only connectors that some PSUs have. I'm a little confused here about the mention of molex connectors and fan power supply. If you're asking if you can use a regular molex connector to connect your fan and SATA drive, no probs as hunt3r has said.
