expect the unexpected

the reason i am naming the thread so is that i have been using sify broadband at my office since the past 2 months. its been an unexpected rodayway with sify as we all call it sub-standard and narrowband, but infact, it is not the case. i am using the sify m256 plan which is the truly unlimited plan of 256k and i havent seen a single day of downtime whatsoever. i never bought this account for downloading but then igate sux bigtime and there are maipulators on the network who manipulate ur speeds coz the isp is in love with that user, one has to resort to other sources of getting the job done. i have been downloading since a month now and have been able to get 2.1gb in every 24 hours which is quite awesome on a 256k conn.

the reason i am posting this si to make ppl change their negative thaughts over sify and start realising that it is one of the good isps around..

^^ they r still a bunch of rogues..im on the same plan and i get uninterrupted net for one month, during which i manage around 40-45gigs of data transfer and bam, the next month i get disconnected every night.
Its been going on for a while now.

u sure??? whats the pack name u suscribed to?? i am using the M256 package which is the truly unlimited 256k pack.....better ask u operator or in the sify dialer chk account info..coz its been 2 months and i aint seen anything of what u facing.

I too have sify and yesterday night my net stopped working and i was offline the whole night i had to call the Local cable operators twice to get it working again but yes this does'nt happen regularly and when it works it works great!!!

mine was fine last night but then again i am happy with 2 gb that i get per night and at home on my fivenet conn can get 3gb a night so i am having my way....
