i need to buy an external hdd 2.5" for my laptop.
looking at
iomega ego usb 3.0 1tb 2.5" or seagate goflex 1tb 2.5
which is a better buy in terms of performance,reliability,service center?
 
I would suggest seaget.

in case of iomega,you dont know who has manufactured the hard drive which is inside.

these companies put whatever they get cheap.

seaget is with 5 yrs warranty afaik.
