Storage Solutions External HDD Problem !

Well guys,I have a Western Digital 640GB My Book Essential

And today suddenly it stopped detecting

I have checked my USB ports and all seem to be working fine

I can see the blue light on the front when i plug-in the power cord

And can also hear the sound as well as feel the harddisk rotating inside the case

Do we get a seprate USB cable for the MyBook if it is damaged ?

Please help ?

Anyways,if anyone is interested in what happened to my External HD

I sent it for RMA on Thursday

Waiting for the replacement

Btw,anyone knows how much time does it generally take for WD to send a replacement ?

They told me that the drive will be going to singapore for replacement

WD RMA takes just about a week to get the replacement drive to u.

WD had the courier pickup from my place which had an address of Delhi
I applied for the RMA support through their website - Western Digital Hard Drives
