I have never noticed links on the post within this forum & I am sure I am not the only one having this problem.

The links show same color as normal text, example is here Google
where as it should show in different noticeable color automatically such as this example Google

Can the owner/moderator please change the option so the links are automatically shown in blue or red color.

they are underlined and lighter in colour. Isn't that good enough?

NO not at all in my case.
I just checked on Vista & XP both IE & FF show it as normal text, there is some bug in the code. This has been a problem since the day I joined this forum.

See this screen shot

Oh so its the skin I am using which is causing this on FF??

What about IE then?

Hope something can be done to the forum template to render the links in another noticeable color.

@ranjan2001:

All links are underlined by default which makes them easier to identify. If the links are of same color as the content here at TE, its not due to any bug but by design.

I'm unable to replicate your problem with my browsers (both FF and IE) so I guess the problem lies within your browser only. If you primarily use Firefox, please try the following -

1. Select Tools > Options from the menu bar.

2. Under 'Fonts & Colors', click on the Colors... button.

3. In the new window, under 'Link Colors', select any color you'd like for all your links and remember to Check the 'Underline links' box.

4. Uncheck the 'Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above' box.

5. Click OK.

Hope this helps. :)

Here the link is shown underlined but its same colour as the text. Checked on 3 machines 3 different browsers.

Different colour will be welcomed to be honest.

OK I tried your method in FF & it now shows in blue color & underlined but the color code formatting of the entire forum is lost.

All I see is a monochrome look of this forum as well as all the other various forums have lost its color coding.

To get the color coding back I had to check 'Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above' box.

so now this work with links underlined

Thanks for looking into this & your help but this solution is not acceptable & the bug in the code needs to be looked into.

Its not just FF, the same is happening in IE 6 too on 2 different system I tested.

The text link color only changes (light blue) when you hover.
You don't expect us to hover each word of the forum I read to find if thats a link or not?

Different color is what we need.

problem could be because of some xp theme installed on his machine.

in my machine the links are black and underlined, and turn to light blue when u hover on them. its same as the Previous and Next thread links u find above this message box.
