I do not know if someone else has posted this before, but I feel that clicking on one of the ads should opne a new window.

I just clicked on a link and it opened in the same window. I find this extremely irritating. This is why I do not love Rediffmail.

Can you guys do someething abt it???

And what do all the other members think abt it???

well...if you are referring to google ads...
we can't do it coz its against google's TOS.

having said that you can do it urself by right-clicking and selecting "open in new window". :)

In IE or Gecko based browsers, you can hold the "Shift" key and then click on the google ad! This causes the ad to open in a new window!
Note that this doesn't work if you are using Opera! In that case, you can just "Middle-click" your middle mouse button! Also, you can middle click in FF! Maybe this also works in Maxathon, but haven't tried it out though!

Hope this solves your problems! ;)

You can....... but you have to click on the exact words. Not on the whole ad. For example.... you need to click on "Raid Array Recovery" and not below it. If you right click on the lettering, you can open in a new window.

Guyz, even the middle click thingy doesn't work??!! :S :)
I use Opera and it works like a charm! :D

The only criteria being that you click on the "Headline" of the banner ad! ;)

here is the reason we can't help you:
From the TOS of google
Ad Placement

* Up to three ad units may be displayed on each Web site page.
* A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page.
* A single link unit may be placed on each Web site page, in addition to the ad units and search boxes specified above. Link units are considered to be 'Google ads' for purposes of these program policies.
* No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages. This includes error, login, registration, "thank you" or welcome pages.
* No Google ad or Google search box may be displayed on any domain parking websites, pop-ups, pop-unders, or in any email.
* No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant.
* Elements on a page must not obscure any portion of the ads, and the ad colors must be such that any ad elements, including text and URL, are visible.
* Clicks on Google ads must not result in a new browser window being launched.

Thanks for the clarification, dear admin! :D
