Storage Solutions external to internal drive possible?

Hi guys.!

I have an iomega external DVD writer which i want to use as an internal drive. is there any decent way i can use it exactly as an internal drive placed inside the cabinet?
 
^ well, we have nothing to suggest as you have to fix it in the drive bay of your cabinet

& you should experiment with it ! you may not have the screw holes on external drive ;

fixing it is a techie task as the drive should not shake while accessing the disc ...
 
dude if you have placed your cabby at a strong stable place then you cab best keep it on the cabinet itself. Place your cabinet in your pc table in its shelf & the dvd on it.

That would be not enough. Use a big hammer to burst open cabinet optical drive bay and fit the damn thing there :D If scared to do then use external drive outside only.
