So, I was browsing a website, and I usually save photos from there (they are paperazzi pictures, so I don't think there is any copyright issue). Now this website has disabled right click and drag and drop. So I saved these files as HTML. But still I am not able to save the file. I guess the save HTML is still accessing the web to get that JPG (for the HTML is only 13 KB). I am all at see to how to get around this. (celebuzz.com has most of these pictures, but I don't visit that site too often.

Here is a link to one of those pictures ;)

megan fox is a tease - Photo - What Would Tyler Durden Do

Help will be really appreciated !:ohyeah:

Edit: Found a simple way to do it in Firefox, looked up the page info and got it. But would like a simpler method

Cheers !

Well you simply have to disable javascript and it should be all right to save the images. Or you can save the page in firefox and make sure you select "Web Page Complete" in the "Type" box.

Well I extracted it using the page info option in firefox, where all the images were displayed. But I want to know if there is a cooler way to bypass the problem. Disabling javascript seems like the best deal I guess. Have disabled noscript as it was bugging me.

Edit: Reinstalled noscript, it seems to have sorted out the problem. Yippie !

Even if you install NOScript, you can not directly download the image right? It is only blocking the no right click script. Use with Adblock too. Right click, select adblock image. It will show URL. Don't click OK. Go to that URL and download the image :P

There are three solutions:

1) Geeky print screen method

2) tweak javascript, Tools>Options>Content>Exceptions>Uncheck Disable or replace context menus. this way java script would function normally but at same time you would be able to use right click menus:hap2:

3) Tools>Page Info>Media from firefox

Lol. Its so easy. i can make a bot if I wanted to. but i don't care bout lousy celebs.

Anyway. the url is of the format

Code:
[url]http://www.wwtdd.com/photo.phtml?post_key=20591&photo_key=77411[/url]

the direct link to the image is

Code:
http://cdn.wwtdd.com/ul/77411-1.jpg

make a filter for a download manager to directly dl corresponding images.

enjoy :hap2:

thanks @junkiedog, freeradical and gaurish.

@freeradical :O, you are saying you don't like Megan Fox. I could kill anyone she wants for a one night stand with her :bleh:. But thats just me I guess. You are made of more austere mettle.

Cheers !
