Wonder what other uses it can be put to. Hmmm.

nahi re..

My frnd read this post and we were discussing abt some Israeli firm .. which is supposed to be top notch manufacturer of arms ..and he had heard abt one sch project .. building up a cam like that .. he told me this ..

u can hav the cam installed at a strategic position .. like unmanned one .. the cam ofcource shd be hidden behind a not so thick cover.. The cam be placed INLINE with the path Which HAS to be crossed by ppl coming in and the cover acting as a perfect foil.. If the path is inclined.. and The cam and its comuflage be looking dwn upon the intended path.. the comuflage wil act as the crosshair for the cam. Wen the person(s) comes along the path and has to lookup .. the cam wd be easily updating the counter and can keep a tab of hw many ppl actually came ... or giv some idea of it ..

Abhi samjha ?? :P

^^Arrey so thats wat i was saying na... counting the number of ppl. But what good is that and that can be done with any sort of tripper dude... you don't need this camera. But the billboard thing is actually a brilliant use for it.

Like a great statistical tool for measuring interest in something.

looks like a joke to me

what if the same set of people take turns to watch the billboard sign by coming and going, will the camera differentiate or count as seperate eyeballs?

also i wonder what those around 50 led lights are there for. brilliant flashes i suppose so that the ppl looking up can know they've been captured.

edit: seems like those led throw a beam of infrared light on the subjects for counting red eyes.

also google has nothing to do with this i read in the link

edit 2: check out the funny comments on the article. sure to bring on a broad smile :D
