F.E.A.R 3 delayed to 2011

Day 1 Studios' horror shooter FEAR 3 will not be shipping this fall as originally intended.

A Warner Bros. representative confirmed to IGN this afternoon the title will now be shipping sometime in 2011. A reason for the delay was not provided at this time.

FEAR 3 joins a growing laundry list of 2010 titles delayed into next year, which includes: Crysis 2, Test Drive Unlimited 2, True Crime: Hong Kong, and SOCOM 4.

I dont mind any of these delays as long as the end product is worthy of a proper pc title and not some half assed console port.
 
Guys, what & when is the next big shooter coming out. Not TPS but a hard core FPS. Been a while. Times are boring.
 
EA's just announced that its Call of Duty contender, Medal of Honor will release in Europe on October 15 and North America on October 12 - a month ahead of Activision's Black Ops.

Would we lie to you? Activision has confirmed that the Call Of Duty Black Ops release date will arrive in November - as revealed by CVG earlier this year.

The official website for the game has unveiled a worldwide release date of November 9.

From whatever I could gather, the visuals look pretty decent but the gameplay appears to be Doom 3'ish to me. Project Origin wasn't as good as the first title. Level designs were mediocre at best and the story ended on a flat note. Hoping that Day 1 studios have something better to offer this time considering they've involved John Carpenter in crafting the cinematics.
 
Going to be highly linear, but will still play it. :)

John Carpenter, mmm...might add a good angle.
 
Mixed feeling about this one, specially after F2 had come. F.E.A.R.'s strongest element was Paxton Fettel, even more than Alma --- I felt that. Slowly it just got killed. Plus the music intensity also went south. As Ethan said, looks very DOOM'esh, which am not happy about. Original FEAR had an industrial look and feel with machines and robotic devices, not as much augmented and deformed humans. Hope it just does not pass of as another shooter.
 
What do you guys think will the system requirements be like? We can at least guess at this point of time :P
