F.E.A.R Extraction Point - Audio gone

I have F.E.A.R XP installed in Vista with audio ok bu the sound of bullets gone and the floorboard creaking sound gone half sound is coming half is not any idea ?
 
u use a sound card ?

have u enabled hardware mixing , EAX 2.0 or EAX advanced HD in-game ?

also sometimes it can be due to a loosely connected 3.5mm jack (happened to me once :p ) ...
 
Disabling HD sound worked !!

Also @ nightstalker : game is fine but sometimes it gets boring due to extra amount of fighting :( also Dx 10 has no difference what so ever in FEAR.

Btw vista shares 750 MB with mt 256 Mb but Xp gives only 256.

Probably vista shares the vram of the onboard 7150. :/

No onboard Vram in 7150 .. Vista virtualizes video mem. allocation .. lol ..
 
Thanks dude ill pass on it. fear 1 was good but then it got too stupid by the end of the game, ghosts and shit.

i wish they port condemned 2 for the pc :(
 
condemned is extremly good game provided u have patience for the stupid investigations.

@ Deathvirus : can u elaborate I dont get the virtualization stuff.
