hehe sounds easy doesnt it? I dont think 90% of us wont even be able to pull outa the garage without stalling the car a couple dozen times, 280kmph? man u are a dreamer :P
 
F1 cars are really easy to drive once you learn the basics.
With so much downforce + traction control, they are much easier to drive than the usual sports car.
Stalling is easily dealt with some good clutch work.

But being quick and competitive while pushing them to the limits over kerbs without spinning out or giving in to the G forces is a different story.
 
You cannot really stall an F1 car. There is no clutch. You just use the paddles on the side of the steering wheel and you are off. And 280kmph is not that fast. People do that speed abroad in sports cars. The main stress come when you brake and accelerate both oif which can be controlled.
 
It is not that fast for an F1 car. And most sports cars can touch that speed. Do you mean to tell me that people who buy a Porsche in Germany and drive it on the autobanhns undergo special training??? People who buy Ferrar 575M MAranellos???

I said the main stress on a driver is during breaking, turning at high speed and accelerating.

Sachin Tendoo had to go to Italy and train to drive his 360 Modena :S
 
Even you would if you were getting an all expenses paid trip to Italy and the Ferrari factory.

He went to choose the colour, the upholstery, the interior, etc..... Not for any training. And of course for a test drive.....

Just thought I would update you on this, there is a hand operated clutch that is used the very first time u pull outa the garage, and later on u dont use the clutch to shift gears u do it by paddles all right, then there is the traction control part, which is not allowed to work in very very low revs, so its as good as no traction control assist when you are pulling outa the garage. plus u cant floor the pedal coz theres no traction control and 18k rpm just overwhelms the tyres and u just spin. Once you get going and go past the 10-11k rpm part, the fun begins(coz the complete traction control kicks at that time).
