Fabregas staying back would really make no difference. His mind and heart since last 2 yrs was never at AFC. It's a blessing in disguise for Arsenal. Atleast things r clear now and they can look to the future without any uncertainty. BTW, united fanboy here but still feel for arsene :)

Better Out than Half In . . Is what I would say. .

Saw a bot of freshness in the game-play this time in the first match.

Sorry, OT...

^ which channel is broadcasting it ?

don't know how much this will effect arsenal, its better that there are no more news about any player leaving, arsenal just need to get mature and bring 2-3 good player in defense and midfield and a goalkeeper as always.

yaay..!

but i have still have a doubt what will pep guardiola do with all those players? Its a waste to buy a good player and place him on the bench.

i hope it doesnt happen like all those chelsea players who were on the bench for almost a season and then left the club because of no playtime.

kissing the badge is overrated tbh...and about his move to barca it was clear that it was coming....bit similar to how ronaldo went to madrid....just one issue i have with Arsenal selling him is that they should have got way more money for him...i mean Andy carrol went for 35M and fabregas is clearly way way better player then him and he goes for less than 35m.

DUDE :

Barcelona said it paid $42 million to Arsenal, and incentives that increase the figure to $56 million

^^^

Total fee is €39M = €29M up front + €5M over 5 years + €5M if barca wins 2 leagues(€4M) and 1 cl(€1M) in the next 5 years.

Theres a buy back/first refusal option if/when barca decide to sell him and a 50% sell-on clause in the deal.

They totally have ripped us off.. partly because of cesc himself.

Nevermind.. it was for the best... we should be expection 2-3 more signings soon...

We should expect much better from Arsenal now.. similar to when Henry left and we lost the title by a whisker..

STAY POSITIVE \m/

Don't know what is going on with wenger, he expected nobody to leave arsenal & cesc left the following day, he should be clear with fans about other contract rebel player, why don't he buys english players rather than others who gets home sick if they can't win silverware.if they screw up the champions league qualifier against udinese really the fans gonna rebel against him.still professor good luck:-!

How can wenger say the truth to the media ?? he cannot just come out and say.. " yes we are negotiating fr this and this player... and we dont want to keep this player.. this player is unhappy so we are looking to sell him" etc etc... if he does that he will get less monet for the players he is selling and will have to pay more money for players we are buying..

^Yes its a business men tactics, but gunners didn't need a 17 yr old striker who gonna only warmup the bench for next 2 yrs rather than spending on him better was to buy a established midfielder or defender.Really don't know to show pity or laugh at wenger:-(

Arsenal is almost finished. They have no one left as such. They haven't won a thing since so long.

They are no longer one of the top 3.Man Utd, Chelsea and Man City are way stronger, hell even Liverpool is stronger.

When they beat a top four they cry, see we beat them. Its not about beating one freaking team, it about being consistent.

The players are just too young, inexperienced and inconsistent.

Ripped you off? Lol. They took back a player for whom you paid nothing due to a contract loophole.

Also, you expected loyalty from a player that ditched his "boyhood club/ whose DNA was inside him" for an early professional contract/money? A club that is famous for giving it's academy players first team chances at a very young age?
