Factory Unlocked Blackberry

I need to buy a BB for someone today. Now, I know that there are factory unlocked BBs available in the market. What I want to know is, are they legally sold here with proper bill and warranty? Will the operator provide me with proper support for the device. Or, is it better to go with the locked handset from the operator.
 
Yes if you buy from reliance digital store, croma or mobile store. they have offically unlocked phone which is with 1 yr warranty and support. I am using same. Its perfect fine and you can go with any operator.
