Hey guys,

So a friend of mine just went to HK for a couple of weeks and he looked around and found the 3GS selling factory unlocked with proper Apple warranty, sealed box.

Prices are steep and also, the IC is limited to 2 pieces MAX (Since I will be getting one), maybe one or two more is possible.

Prices are tentative and might drop (Cause I went and asked him to negotiate) but in that range approximately. He'll be back in about 2 weeks so you'll have the phone then.

Please no lowballing, etc

Thanks.

3GS is full of heating problems after long usage.

The Internet knowledge [always] needs to be double checked... :p

Unless off-course, you've yourselves used the piece and experienced these problems.

So as you can see... it's not exactly confirmed what is the actual cause of the issue. Unless, it's confirmed on mass level, all I can say is stop spreading FUD in someone's thread, unless you're ACTUALLY interested in buying. :)

Guys, the prices are for factory-unlocked 3GS phones! Stop comparing it with the official 3G prices in India...

it's a hassle mate. and when you have a compelling reason to stay on the bleeding edge releases :)cool2:), you can't rely on these unlock methods.

Exactly! This is peice of mind, update to new firmware, send the phone in for service, no worries!
