Brief:
Budget constraint. Will be mainly used for entertainment (movies and music - some HD movies as well), word processing, web surfing, picture storage, extremely light gaming (old games of 2003-05 era for the kids). Personally, I think AMD should be the way to go for such budget PCs, however I am open to Intel rigs. (I could not find the Intel Pentium G-series SandyBridge in the online stores. Haven't they arrived in India yet?)

To be noted: There will be an upgrade later to include a 21" monitor (my cousin loves watching movies).

Also, the prices have increased very recently. This have made the things more tight.

What I was thinking:

Option 1:
CPU| AMD Athlon II X3 445 | Rs. 3400 | Yet to be found
MB| ASUS M4A88T-M LE | Rs. 4150 | found at The IT Wares
RAM| G.Skill 4GB DDR3 1333MHz (F3-10600CL9S-4GBNT)| Rs. 1260| found at The IT Depot
| Shipping Cost | Rs. 400 | |
Total| | Rs. 9210 | |
Option 2:
CPU| AMD Phenom II X4 840 | Rs. 4965 | found at Lynx
MB| Gigabyte GA-MA78LMT-S2 | Rs. 2550 | found at The IT Wares
RAM| G.Skill 4GB DDR3 1333MHz (F3-10600CL9S-4GBNT)| Rs. 1260| found at The IT Depot
| Shipping Cost | Rs. 400 | |
Total| | Rs. 9175 | |

Concerns:
1. What do you think about the above options? Are they underperformers or overkills? Any other suggestion?
2. What if I take the combination of Athlon II X3 645 + Gigabyte GA-MA78LMT-S2 (760G/SB710), and thereby save some 1600/- to invest in the monitor upgrade later?
3. Don't you think the Pentium G-series would perform better for HD movies?
