Hi,

Till recently, my fan was runnin @ 5k+ less dan 6k, but, suddenly it shot up to arpund 6.5k, n makin a lotta noise, wat cud b de pblm, de system temp is at 29 degrees. but dis duz not happen always, only sometimes, but makes a lot of noise at dose times, my comp runs for 24 hrs,...
 
I think the +12V line of ur PSU is higher than before. Which rail is your fan running on? Check the voltages with a multimeter. High voltages to your fan reduces the life a lot, so please check asap with a multimeter.
