Bad news indeed. We were hoping for a co-op playthrough. :(

Does this affect co-op too? I guess in co-op its always one of the player's PC acting as a host, so how does lack of dedicated servers hamper that? Or am I totally oblivious of something?
I have pre-ordered the game months ago and if co-op is ruled out i'll get my order cancelled pronto.:|

I meant the lack of dedicated servers here (a la Borderlands/Borderlands 2) will be a concern. For one, we may have to rely on servers hosted elsewhere which may result in lags. High pings and so forth. There is no reason to cancel your pre-order though. :)

For Co-op, i think its better to have one of the player host the game than rely on a dedicated server. Pings will be far better as the data will be sending between the players than from player to a host and then to other players.

Isn't that what most of the people do? I don't think it would affect us normal users, as we host our own private sessions.

After borderlands 2, this is my most anticipated game of the year. Hope it doesn't disappoint. If most of us are getting the game, we can have someone host a TE server for multiplayer mayhem.
