Far Cry Patch 1.40 official released

I was just surfing Ubisoft & saw Far Cry v1.40 Cumulative Patch which updates Far Cry from v1.0 & v1.40 Standalone which Patch updates Far Cry from v1.33

will this patch directly patch the original version to the latest /or do i need all the patches release after the game and before this patch...??

I think Cumulative version is the ALL-IN-ONE.

The Cumulative patch will update every version to 1.40

thanx..but does this also work for *ahem* (p) versions...sorry to ask..but i have some 1.8 GB of dvd of far cry..never tried installing..it..

Works fine on the 3.45GB DVD version, didn't work on the 3 CD *ahem* version, which was compressed using uharc.

does'nt work on the ahem version thus I own it's original DVD as patch 1.4 = HDR+AA on ATI Cards & G80 hopefully
