What's your favorite antivirus software

if your choice is other, please mention the name.

this is a multiple choice simulation, so you can choose more than one. but stick to 2 or 3 at most(if you have more than one favorite).

As of right now, i have no AV installed (only have Adaware and Spybot and regualrly online scan for virus's once a week) but i would prefer Nod32 over AVG. Havent tried Kaspersky but i think its just as good.

My viewpoint is, nod32 is the undisputed king as far speed & utilisation of resources is concerned. it also has very good detection rate, comparable to kaspersky.
my 2nd choice would undoubtebly be kaspersky :)
3rd between f-secure, bitdefender & avg.

i`m currently using panda...

was using macfee .. but it didnt allow me to make remote connections in torrents.. even after allowing ports in torrents..

i liked nod32.. but again.. its incompatible with bittornado... the software i prefer to use :)

you should have given it under nod32 imon exclusion list, that should have solved your problem.
i did that... the problem was that my system after a few minutes went straight at 100% cpu utilization.. and stayed thier. until i ended Bt ..
afaik i had seen on some forum with poeple have probs with nod32 and bit tornado. and the only way out was not to use bit tornado.. this was like a year ago i think.....
so i reverted back to norton :bleh:

what about the javaw.exe files, if bitornado is java based, same as azureus.
