I wonder what promoted you to download 6 different Iso? Generally a USB flash drive. http://docs.fedoraproject.org/installation-quick-start-guide/f12/en-US/html/"]Single live CD is enough to install[/URL].

anyways, use the Disk-1 to install the base system. if you worried about wasting Blank media. you can always install via USB flash drive.

I thought this 3 gb installation data contains extra apps which will reduce pain to install later or configure the system. I will install it from flash drive but how should i install other ISO in this directory or is there any way to create single bootable DVD from these ISOs.

Burn these iso files to cds by any cd burning software. Every software has burn image option. Use that. After that insert disc 1 to your cd drive and boot your machine from cd. You might have to change booting preferences in BIOS to set cd rom drive as 1st boot device. After successful boot you will see the installation instruction. The installation will automatically ask for 2nd, 3rd and so on discs. Jut keep on removing previous cd and inserting next cd to continue installation. Hope it helps.

I will try all these installation methods but i still not able to figure out how to use other Isos. I will try base installation Iso first but is it ask to use next ISo during installation.

There is no point of these CD as most of the packages contained won't be any use for you. always install what you really need.

you can try this:

1) copy all 6 iso CDs to HDD.disc1-disc6. in windows, you can use DAEMON Tools to mount the isos.

2) Use Net Install CD to boot(Fedora-12-x86_64-netinst.iso)

3) When you fire up the install, there would be a menu that allows you to choose the installation source. Select Installation Method = Hard Drive.

More info:

6.6.*Installing from a Hard Drive

The main advantage here is, Install would be many times faster than installing from CD/DVD:ohyeah:

If you knew that you would be using a DVD for install then why the heck did you download the CD Install ISO's rather than the single DVD ISO?
