FIFA 10 Gameplay is a lot slower than FIFA 09

Is it just me or the gameplay is really slower than FIFA 09.

While passing the ball it stops mid way and players move really slow also the shots on goal move at a slow pace , whats wrong with FIFA 10

FIFA 10 has been the worst FIFA i have ever played.

Even after changing the game speed to fast , there aren't any significant improvements.

Also the visual quality of FIFA 10 isnt as good as FIFA 09
 
^^ most assuredly one of the worst games on PC at the moment......quad why don't u try out pes 2010 much better product overall

PES 10 and FIFA 09 are my daily dose of football.

I dont wanna make this into a PES Vs FIFA thread but want opinion on FIFA 10 any are there any patches up to fix things
 
Is this for the PC or the PS3?

I have no idea about the PC, but on the PS3 this is an awesome game. There are a few minor irritants though like keeper charging out, etc..GFX are almost the same as the 09 version but definitely not worse than them.

I've also observed that depending on the stadium u select the ball travels faster or slower. Try playing in the rain, the ball zips around...

The PC version must be a bad port. Pickup the console version and you will not be disappointed.
 
Fifa 10 on consoles vs PES 10 on PC.

Which is the better game & why?

I don't have a console so I can only play the PC version and comparing PC version of Fifa 10 to PES 10 is definitely the wrong thing to do.
 
don't know bout the PES on PC part... but nothing can beat Fifa when it comes to PS3... it wins hands down.. :)

Both are very good games and have their plus points. In my opinion...

PES 2010 (PC) has

+ Amazing player individuality.

+ Good tactics

+ Great Player Likenesses/graphics

- Feels rigid / on rails for player movement (at times)

- Lack of some licenses

FIFA 2010 (PS3) has

+ Great animation system (not graphics, but player animations - 360 degree motion etc)

+ Really nice passing system (All manual through balls, shooting, passing etc)

+ Almost exhaustive licenses.

- Player individuality is lacking.

- Sometimes the jostling system / physical play seems off
 
^^ can u please explain what do u mean by 'player individuality'.. Coz afaik.. Fifa possesses it.. Compare ronaldo's speed of dribbling with others.. The skills henry can do.. Etc.. :)

Actually, it's kind of tough to explain. In PES, each player feels a bit different to control. Even when you play in the wide mode (most zoomed out), you instinctively know which player received the ball and what pass can be attempted and what shot can be taken. I think FIFA has still not caught up here.

Of course, FIFA has basic stats, and their player feel has improved in leaps and bounds from FIFA 08 to FIFA 09 to FIFA 10. But somehow, it doesn't feel 'right' yet. (I would also like the player response times to improve a bit.)

All in all, FIFA 10 (Console) is a really nice game, an the first FIFA game I have bought in about 10 years.

Sorry, but I cannot seem to explain this well, maybe someone else can chip in. (Or call this whole thing a placebo effect and BS. :D)

Bad port ?

It still runs on legendary Fifa 04 engine :rofl:, don't expect anything from EA !
Heck they have'nt even released a patch for PC version, Get a console and enjoy NG gaming ;)

the gameplay is slow due to fuild control i guess...

there is one more reason...the addition of mouse+keyboard combination that them implemented since 09... a person using that combination cant compete again the fast pace that keyboard-only control allows..

it does not feel as slow if you play against a human..

shall we create a hamachi fifa10 network for TE ?? :)

i would really love to play fifa with fellow members :)
 
yup still play on PC and also on console :)
console version of FIFA is way better be it on X360 or PS3...

P.S. i am in for a hamachi network for FIFA 10 TE :D
