Fifa 11 online play problem

hey guys,I'm not able to play FIFA 11 online or even LAN play through internet using hamachi or gameranger.Do I need to change any settings?
 
None that I know of. I was able to configure the game on GameRanger in my friend's cafe this Sunday. Played a couple of 1v1 matches online with some random folks. There was severe lag with the Russian hosts, but worked fine with the Indian ones. Can you describe the procedure of how you attempt to connect?
 
I had FIFA 11 installed,Next i installed Gameranger,I have an account in gameranger,I could host a game,but my friend was not able to join my room.but when he hosted and invited me to play,I could join.Problem was when he hosted a game on Multiplayer->LAN I was not able to see any game in the list.
 
yea I hosted the game properly and refreshed and tried many times,my friend claims to have joined and can see me,but I am not able to see him in the room.
