I bought a game FIFA 15 for my son yesterday from the Game 4U store on Linking Road, Mumbai, India. The game worked for a few hours and now we are getting an error message “disk not recognizable”, “clean disk”.
We took the disk back to the store and they claim that the disk was damaged because the Xbox is used in the vertical position. So they will not honour the warranty.
We have had this Xbox for over a year and it has been in the same position all along. My son plays a number of games on it including FIFA13 and we have had no problem in any of the games.
My son has saved up to buy this game and we have paid Rs. 3500 for it. Is there any way to get a copy of the disk. I assume the cost is for the license to use the game. So the damaged hardware should not invalidate the license. How can I get the disk replaced? Help
