Graphic Cards FIFA 2010 Graphics issue...

Guys,
For some reason FIFA 2010 does not let me enable the depth field option...the option is kind of faded out .I'm sure the HD 5770 is more than capable of running this game,I think the problem is the game doesn't detect the card properly.I've tried googling this but surprisingly no one seems to have faced this issue.I've also tried switching drivers to 9.11 from 10.4 and also applying the graphics mods on the web,the mods improved the visuals a lot but the DOF is still disabled.
I really want to play this game at full effects...Any ideas will be appreciated.

have you tried reinstalling the game?

backup you FIFA 10 folder in My docs and delete the one in My Docs..

create new profile and see if that settings are available.

3rd party mods may cause unknown issues so apply them once having figured out whether it is an issue with game or mods.

Yes it tried the profile.I effectively cleared my whole computer of the word FIFA in the registry and then reinstalled but depth of field was still off.I found an alternative solution - a mod called enbseries.It lets you modify advanced effects for any DirectX 9 game...impressive actually.So I turned the depth of field on using this.It still needs some tinkering but the graphics are pretty impressive now.It looks as good as the console version.So problem solved .I think its time to actually start playing the game.Thanks Madnav.:hap2:

i just ran my fifa and the depth of field was off. could you please provide me with link to that mod.
