Filteration of internet sites

I want to get some sites filtered from my home computer when i access internet.

Can anybody suggest the best way to do it?

Do you want to block a few particular sites or category of sites ?

I use opendns to filter. Filtering is done by DNS server. All I have to do is login to their server once per session (which my router will do).

^^ OpenDNS is not a software per se. Check the site mentioned above for more details.
You can also look at installing some parental control / internet filter softwares. Google for them. There are plenty of such softwares available, NetNanny being one among them.
