One of the PI stick is DOA, gotta send it for RMA to taiwan, but waiting for some back up RAM.

No, it works as a back light and doesn't at all get into my eyes, the white ccfl is for lightning up my keyboard at nights, the reason why it seems distracting is because its taken at a much lower level then my eyes usually are.
