Hi
I had a Core i7 860 + 2x2gb gskill ripjaws plus 5850 1gb. Now I have sold my previous graphic card and upgraded to a 6970 2gb.
I am playing the original unpatched Crysis CAT 10.11 @ stock settings
Crysis everything V High
Motion Blur maxed out
No tweaks
Windows 7 64
32 bit edition Crysis
I get around 50-60 FPS at 14x9. At 16x10 I get around 45-50 avg and occasionally lower 40s or 55+. Rarely does it go below 40, 30s is rare.
At 19x10 I avg 30-45 and it isn't very playable.
16x10 is playable but not the smoothest possible at all times, although it does average 45+ almost always, even during fights.
14x9 gives around 50+ almost always and is the best combination IMO.
However, the game looks stunning at 19x10. I have never seen a computer game so beautiful. However, I will need to wait for my next 7970 or even 8970 for that!
But finally playing it maxed out at least!
And of course, no AA!
