Firefox 1.0.3 is a security update that is part of our ongoing program to provide a safe Internet experience for our customers. We recommend that all users upgrade to this latest version.

Here's what's new in Firefox 1.0.3:

  • Several security fixes.
    1. Javascript "lambda" replace exposes memory contents
    2. javascript: PLUGINSPAGE code execution
    3. Showing blocked javascript: popup uses wrong privilege context
    4. Cross-site scripting through global scope pollution
    5. Code execution through javascript: favicons
    6. Search plugin cross-site scripting
    7. Arbitrary code execution from Firefox sidebar panel II
    8. Missing Install object instance checks
    9. Privilege escalation via DOM property overrides
  • Fix to improve update process.

what? security fixes? I didn't know it was even broken! (I mean, i know, but I have had no problems till now...). Anyway, thanks for the info, the Spreadfirefox team has not even made it a main post, so i didn't know it was released...
