Firefox Facebook Chat

Ok this problem has really bugged me off firefox does not behave while using the largest Social website, Facebook.

Whenever I am having a conversation on Facebook Chat the browser becomes slow sluggish and really pathetic to use. But, this problem does not even exist on chrome.

Things I have tried.
1>Googling...Many people have the same problem but I am yet to see a solution
2>Reinstalling using an older and the latest version the same problem for all versions.
3>Installing QuickTime Alternative and also QuickTime even configured some sound settings still no help.

Why don't I change over to Google Chrome or Opera for the simple reason that there is Adblock for Firefox which means I don't need to load the advertisements not that the advertisements are loaded and then hidden...Oh please wasted bandwidth is like wasted food.

Just switch to Opera. You can get ad blocking feature in Opera also through urlfilter.ini. Just google it out.

Have you updated to the latest version of Firefox?It's 3.6 now. A friend of mine had the same issue.After the update it was resolved.

Happens sometimes with me as well. Generally it happens when chatting with 2 or more people.

I just updated to 3.6. Hope I don't face the issue now.

Mine seems to have gotten fixed with 3.6.

Hope people have a look here and update.

I'm on 3.6 and don't have a problem, however I use Opera as primary browser and everytime facebook chat opens in opera, the taskbar transparency is gone in Windows 7 x64. Anyone else facing the same issue?
