Firewall for Windows 7

I've been using Zone Alarm free+NOD32 for the past few years without any trouble whatsoever, but I've switched to Windows 7, and Zone Alarm doesn't work any more. I know Norton Internet Security does, but it's too bloaty. Any recommendations for a light firewall for Windows 7?

Why not use the windows firewall in Win 7? I have had no problems with it.

Is it any good? :S

Well, it seems to work OK for me.

If you are looking for other options, the AVG firewall works on windows 7 and is supposed to be decent. If you install the Kaspersky suite, it has a firewall with the antivirus. That does work on Windows 7 as well. (I tested it for some time.)

If you still say that Norton is bloaty then you have not tried out their 2009 range! The best and the fastest AV out there!

And even i was one of the Norton is simply to bloated and resource hogger users. You have to try it out to see how fast it is!

Where did u et all come to know that Norton IS is a bloatware?:@

Its download size is less than any other security suites out dere. It installs in less than a minute and starts running without even asking for a reboot. And it is hardly taking memory or resources when in the background. Add to it there is a silent mode when it does not use anything. Add to it frequent updates and complete security.
It gives u everything without bothering or asking u anything...What more do u want?

Give Norton IS 2009 a shot. I use Norton IS 2009 with Norton Antibot. :)

U might be thinking and are correct that I am a Norton fan...:P And it delivers... :ohyeah:

Have been using ESET smart security for the past 3months in Win7.

Works great for me, why not give it a shot.
