Dear Friends,

Please provide suggestions for my first android phone. The requirements are given below:

Questions:-

A: 8K

2. Q: Preferred Form Factor(flip, bar, slider)?

A: BAR

3. Q: Preferred display type?
A: TFT/ IPS

4. Q: Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them.
A: SAMSUNG/ HUAWEI/ XOLO/ MMX

5. Q: Preferred input method (Touchscreen, QWERTY, etc.)?
A: Touchscreen

6. Q: Camera required or not? If required, please specify type like front camera/flash/etc.
A: Good camera with flash

7. Q: Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
A: Android

8. Q: Preferred connectivity options? (3G, Wifi, Edge etc).
A: 3G and WiFi

9. Q: What is your intended use for this phone(internet, camera, multimedia, mails, etc)?
A: Talk, SMS, Music, Email/internet (Not a gamer)

10. Q: Any other requirements?
A: Want good battery; better if dual sim.

11. Q: If you have already considered a phone then please mention the model.
A: Samsung Galaxy Y, Huawei U8800 pro, XOLO X500/ A500, MMX A89

It would prefer to have mobile from a reputed brand so as to have better ASS. Do not want screen size more than 4" since I am not a gamer. Expect good battery life; Apart from talking, would use for music, camera, email. Feel like going for XOLO X500 because of Intel chipset.

Request friends to provide guidance and hand-on experience.

Thanks

Thanks for the options. Pantech seems very good but I am apprehensive about no Indian warranty.

Amongst Xolo X500 and Huawei Ideso X5 Pro, which one should I go for?

regards,

Indian warranty is a joke, why are you so much about warranty i am sure the mentioned phones doesn't even have proper service centers in india.
Go with Sony,No-kia or Samsung if you want a good dependable indian warranty

Else look at Pantech Burst or Xolo X500 but don't go with Huawei

Does anyone has hands on experience of Xolo X500? Please throw some light on performance.

I feel it should have good battery life, because of intel chipset; whereas the lower resolution is a drawback; and how is sound quality (in call sound as well as music)

Please update if anyone has used X500.

If the burst does not appeal to you, go for the A110 for about 10K.
