Valve releases the first screenshot of the forthcoming expansion to its highly acclaimed first-person shooter sequel.
Valve Software released the first official screenshot of the expansion to Half-Life 2. The dimly-lit image depicts what looks to be a Combine trooper sporting a submachine gun, while a decidedly emaciated-looking creature can be seen in the background. The setting looks to be one of the Combine's futuristic citadels. Valve didn't offer much context for the image, simply stating, "Here is a shot from [Aftermath], the continuation of Gordon Freeman’s adventures that we'll be releasing as an episode later this summer."
