Graphic Cards First Look: Nvidia 7800GT

hum........
The core looks exactly same as 7800GTX. The whole damn card looks same except the infenion RAM which IMHO is there to cut the cost.
i still think unlocking might be possible with RV update or bios flashing.

Hehe dunno if they will release a mainstream part unless there is a lot of pressure from ATi's main stream. AT echos my thoughts

In our minds, there is really no reason for NVIDIA to release any more consumer desktop parts based on G70 when the NV4x series takes care of the rest of the line-up very well.

@bottle: Rename the topic to First Look: Nvidia 7800GT.
Edit: This will be prolly be priced around 26-27k, so i guess the 6800GT prices should fall below 20k soon :D LOl just chked out newegg the PNY 7800GT ships with a 2GB mp3 player

2nd Edit: HKEPC seems to have unlocked a 7800GT to 24 pipes though they dont have a screenie but have benchies. Take this with a pinch of salt....

driver strapping wont work on this card. Read the last 2 pages of guru3d review.
So only option i think is forced bios flash to 7800GTX. Hopefuly someone dares to do that on their shiny new card ;)
