Initial impression is very good :)

The Dynamic Color Ratio & Skin Tone Enhancement just rocks....U have to see Megan's Fox smooooth glowing skin :p in Transformers to believe it :eek:hyeah:

Crysis 1680X1050 + 16xAF 4xAA all High (vista very high patch)---12.5 fps

1680X1050 + 16xAF 0xAA Medium ---- 47.x fps

1680X1050 + 16xAF 2xAA Medium-----42.x fps

1680X1050 + 16xAF 0xAA High--------20.7 fps

1680X1050 + 16xAF 2xAA Very High( vista very high DX10 patch) -- 15 fps
 
Woah! Amazing results at 1680x1050 resolutions.Man I am now confused between this card & 8800GT.Seems tempting by those frame rates.:bleh:

Anyways Sup can you post a few screenshots too if possible? Also Can you bench it at 1280x1024 resolution with High settings? What was the cost again?

Even i have the same question to ask...

1) Is 9600GT better than 8800GT?
2) How much does an 9600GT costs?
 
Ur 8800GT ATM pwns the 9600GT...

But is close behind the G92 in some games..

So be happy abhay.. :p

But ur G92 consumes more power than tat and is noisier... :ashamed:

And btw price- MSI N9600GT-T2D512-OC - Rs 10250/- from Phoenix..

It is not a purchase... Its just a test card. The nicest thing about it is that it idles at 45C and gets to just 65C on load. Eats no power at all :p. Just a small comparison with SLI'ed ultras. These are super hot pressure cookers that idle at 80 degrees and get to 95 on load :p.

1680X1050 + 16xAF 2xAA Medium-----77.x fps

1680X1050 + 16xAF 0xAA High--------58.7 fps

Hope u had ever the privilige of seeing Crysis in very high IQ & 4xAA & 16xAF

Yah ATI & Crysis....Dream on.....even if they introduce Hexa Fire it will give 20 fps :rofl:

& 8800GT doesn't pwn the 9600GT....just check the web for reviews & comment

Btw dnt try to turn this into 8800GT vs 9600GT ...this is a show off thread

The card was in hand only for a nite :p...so no review possible guys.

What I can conclude is that the card is very well built compared to the cooling of the 8800GT. Also with AA/AF enabled it comes within 10% of 8800GT in res of 1680X1050 in most cases & in some games almost same perf :) ...Shader intensive games r albeit slower.
 
The only reason supra didnt buy this card is because supra's is getting a high end ATI card :|
all thanks to his new girl friend who works at ATI :D

what say supra? when is the new ATI coming?
