A: 20K-ish

2. Q: Preferred Form Factor(flip, bar, slider)?
A: none, rather sliders not preferred

3. Q: Preferred display type?
A: none

4. Q: Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them.
A: none, but would like to stay with established brands : sony , samsung , htc etc

5. Q: Preferred input method (Touchscreen, QWERTY, etc.)?
A: Touchscreen

6. Q: Camera required or not? If required, please specify type like front camera/flash/etc.
A: Required a 5MP camera. Flash.

7. Q: Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
A: any except windows phone.

8. Q: Preferred connectivity options? (3G, Wifi, Edge etc).
A: 3G, wifi.

9. Q: What is your intended use for this phone(internet, camera, multimedia, mails, etc)?
A: Maps & navigation , Music , Internet & random photos/vids

10. Q: Any other requirements?
A: Preferred smaller size like Wildfire.I can play around with the budget, I am mainly looking for a phone which as a good music output (via headphones) & and has google maps/gps systems. Another addition to the tall order - battery life. I can hold off for another 2-3 months provided there is something on the horizon.

11. Q: If you have already considered a phone then please mention the model.

I'd rather recommend Nokia N8 or C7 since multimedia & navigation are your requirements. You can even get the Nokia C6-01 whose price has dropped significantly.

samsung nexus s is really good for multimedia and navigation.the screen is better than all nokia phones.better resolution.also 16 gig memory included.good hardware specs.will play almost all formats of audio and video.if you plan to keep the phone for a year or two-buy android if you have the budget.

Thanks guys! Well , this is a first.. In UK , nexus S is more expensive than in India. I'll try to get a touch & feel of the models you guys mentioned.

Isn't defy a better option?
Smaller in hand, but bigger in display.
For ex: the defy is smaller than iphone 4, yet has a slightly bigger display than that?

If u r in UK then better buy iphone 4 on contract then any other phone; once u see so many iphoners u wana have at least one!!! :ohyeah:
