Had ordered about one month back whats happening no idea no feedback if ne one else has also ordered and not recieved plz post ne info
 
You may need to contact him thru' his site or PM him. He may no longer be a dealer in TE, though he continues to be a member.
 
Another cat and mouse game in the making.If u had done the deal on TE PM a mod and Admin to resolve it .If it was done out side TE ,then close this thread.

plz close the thread i have no intension of starting ne fight or something just wanted to know if ne one else had given order like me n recieved it n wht is the reason that the order is taking time.just to crosscheck.had a chat with amarbir the samples of the products have been tested n the order has been placed now due to some customs problem at delhi.
 
You might have to wait for another 1or 2 months.A friend of mine told me that custom's in India have become very very strict off lately .The are thoroughly checking each and every package.
 
^lol. usually when my material reaches delhi, its in my factory within a week.. and im talking about big consignments by sea. for smaller consignments by air, i have the material within 3-4 days of reaching delhi airport. i can confirm this because i have 4-5 sea consignments and atleast one air consignment coming in every month. if your paper work is in order, there is no reason for delay. yes, there were some major delays in patparganj in jan due to some upgradation which extended to feb also, but thats about it.

Anyways coming to the OP's issue. tin_tin_jose , have you already made payment for the Eterna's or only placed an order ?

Hmm, MS was replying to the person before and it all kinda got blended in.

Either way how to show its not held up at customs, no way to do it is there, despite vb's post.

Plausible deniabilty achieved and once again our dear dealer is in the clear :)

Anyway, googling around for whether anything's cooking at the customs turned up this interesting thread

Customs clearance in India is certainly becoming easier and quicker than in the past, especially for online purchases of items in small quantities and relatively low value (say, below a few hundreds of dollars). Shipments below Rs.10k in value for personal use are getting cleared without duty in most cases, and those above that value are being assessed for duty only for the value above Rs.10k. I was pleasantly surprised with my recent customs experience on an EBay purchase of a camera lens of about $300 in value - I was assessed duty of about Rs.2200/- net, which is perfectly reasonable.

Me too inquired with Amarbir few days back, and he told me 2nd week of March. I hope you haven't paid
 
ive already made the payment for it just waiting for the stuff to arrive my first buy from another dealer also took almost a month so cant do nething but wait online order from abroad i guess takes more time.
 
i was just giving you a general idea about how long customs usually take in India. like fah33m said, my reply was to MS. it doesn't take 1-2 months.
 
^ Yeah ,I know that. Most of the other dealers I know have their big consignments cleared within 2-3 days as well. From what I know if all the paper work is clear there isn't much problem other than taking a little extra care of the officials at the clearing office.
 
Even I waited whole January for fischer enterna to reach here, but all I got from him was "order has been placed with Fischer Audio and its in transit". Finally I relented and ordered RE-0 from him when he confirmed that its in stock.

Just a friendly advice to you , in future order an item only when a dealer has it in stock, or be ready to be taken for a ride.I have seen this happening with a lot of preorders of games, where the brick and mortar shops got it on release date while preorders reached a week or more after release .
 
It depends, one of my shipments got through KMD took more more than a month. One shipment that I got directly took 20 days and another took 45 days. One shipment didn't arrive at all and the sender was able to track it till the customs in Delhi. Most of these packages had reached india (except the KMD one) in 3~4 days and the rest of the delay was in India.

Ok, How do we know if its stuck with the customs? Do they inform us to get it cleared?

How to verify this ?

Dealer can say its in stock and still cook up excuses and delay.

I guess what matters then is whether you get a FULL REFUND rather than buying something else. Never go for the substitute, its another product you may or may not be familiar with but is always a plus for the dealer.

How many ppl you know that allow a full refund AFTER they got your money ?
