hey guys,

All those who are on Fivenet and live in wadala, sion, chuna bhatti, parel etc. etc. can join the dc++ hub.

the hub ip is 172.19.1.200 or 172.19.19.19

so set up your comps to access this hub, I think many of you have been looking for a hub on Fivenet...

The hub is open 24x7

the share-size currently is more than 1 TB

as soon as there are more users aware about it will grow soon...

Hub is accessible by both LAN and Internet

LAN HUB ADDRESS :- 172.19.1.200

Internet hub address:- sionheavymetalhub.hopto.org

To connect to this hub as a LAN user, put your IP address as follows

IP Address 172.19.xxx.xxx

Subnet mask 255.0.0.0

you can have these entries in alternate configuration for IP address.

Me frm chembur Area on 5net.I can connect to the hub getting lan speed frm all user.but when i try to connect through local ip 172.16.1.200 i get timeout.
I hve to online to get connected n even my download frm dc is getting counted in 5net account .So how is it possible to get lan speed(1mb-2mb):hap2: .Other user gets upload speed of 60kB frm me y they aint getting Lan speed frm me?:(

I cant even ping ne server beyond 172.29.30.1

the hub is hosted on a comp in Chuna Bhatti,

I am connecting it from wadala East and as there are people from parel etc. area who are able to connect to it as LAN...

Me frm chembur getting 1-2 mb speed.But cant connect without net

What do you mean be connecting with net?
Is it that you have to connect to the net hub address which is sionheavymetal**** ???

But as long as the downloads which you are doing does not get counted in the download from net (Your ISP package), it does not matter,,, Just enjoy...:) :)

i am able to connect using the itnerenet hub address and getting speeds of like 500KB/s-1 MB/sec. Only wondering whether it would be counted as downloads.. would try it at night anyways. Cyaz !

I can connect partially to the hub via the url (sionheavymetal**)! By partially I mean

btw,which client is recommended ? I tried using DCPlusPlus-0.702 !!

Almost 17gb data transfer on nov 28th according to usage account :S

Hub download get counted in usage.Server reset connection after every 1gb transfer.
